This year with overflows from ROW category, maybe 40K extra numbers were used for backlog reduction. Adding 10k for each china and India it makes the number 60K. Isnt 90K better than 60k (if we are lucky) under current system?

Hey guys,
I am planning to take Infopass to see what more information i can collect.
Also does anybody know if USCIS send courtesy copy of Denial Notice to you as well.
My concern is that my attorney sent G-28 and AC21 both but he feel that since I-485 got denied means they have never updated G-28 or AC21 so it might go to my old attorney.
Does anyone know if i will get courtesy copy of denial notice?

Buddy, if I were you, the first thing I would do is get a good and experienced lawyer on my side and have the lawyer look into these issues. You need a lawyer who has experience in handling such issues.
If you are not using your old lawyer anymore, you should immediately have your current/new lawyer file new G-28 so that you won't have to keep asking your old lawyer for anything. I did change my lawyer once and my second lawyer was able to get everything from my first lawyer.
MTR is no joke and it's worth spending some money on a good lawyer when it comes down to a denial of your AOS application. Good luck to you.

Ok, As promised I am giving you an update I contacted my attorneys office yesterday the most senior attorney was out so I spoke to her assistant and according to him, If USCIS made a mistake then its their mistake not mine once the GC card comes enjoy it and if they realized they made a mistake 3 years from now or 5 years from now well by that time my PD would probably be current so whats the difference. He did recommend I wait longer than 5 years to apply for citizenship buts thats a long way ahead. It just might be my 4th of July gift. :) I will keep you all updated on any changes.

1. What is IV doing with all the money collected.
2. What is IVs specific plans for the future/ what has it done in the past
3. Donor forum and general compliants about the concept
# 1. I think trusting IRS and CPA will go a long way. I am not aware of any donations being collected by IV on personal names. Have you sent any money to an individual and not IV the org ?
# 2. About us lists items that IV has done in the past. Do they meet your expectations ? Maybe yes or maybe no. What does advocacy mean ? For both the points, doing some research will help. Why we did not have stellar succeses with past campaigns ? Advocacy, how quickly can we be successful. Google and find out.
#3 Donor forum. Search the forums and find out how much money was collected by campaigns mentioned by ChanduV. Pennies. Two different reasons in my opinion as to why the donor forums have been created. 1. obviously to collect donations 2. the section has 'premium' content like regular updates, quick responses from core, information which cannot be made available publicly without harming the efforts etc.

I think you should forward this to The President! show him how open his offices are about sharing information under the Freedom of Information Act - i dont see how is this different then pay-per view on cable!

Please contribute - let's not make IV plead for contributions, t's ridiculous. This is a thankless job IV is doing - and as the main post says "Consider yourself part of something big. What we are doing is something big." The process is so horribly long and demeaning that people may even become terminally ill during the process! This is no time for lethargy - get off your big behinds and start acknowledging the mess we're in - the anti-immigrant forces want to squeeze every ounce of blood & sweat out of you before you get your due, if at all and you cant not just afford to keep quiet!
