April 2007: New Employer, required to wait 6 months before GC process starts, missed the July Fiasco
Oct 2007: 2nd labor, EB2 - stuck in Business Requirement Audit
Oct 2008: Changed Employers, 3rd labor, EB3 - New company had other pending EB2 audit, lawyers played safe.
Never worked for a desi or consulting company. All my Employers were American and Fortune 500.

mbawa.. It is always nice to sit on the side and blame it all on the leaders here. First thing you have to remember is that these poor/great folks (poor for representing people like you and great for working for representing all immigrant hopefuls) are really working for YOU and me. It is quite convenient to blame others than doing things yourself. If you think you are any better, why not come up with your USEFUL/GREAT ideas and see if the IV core respects those ideas or not. Lobbying or not, when the government is ready to think about CIR or immigration in general, I am pretty sure that IV can make OUR voice heard. Got the point?

The upper limit should be on a per state basis, at the very least. 150K AGI in CA is not much of a deal. Pretty much all double income families will cross that limit, and quite a few single income ones. Bummer!!:mad:
BTW, you can barely afford a Condo or a low end home in Bay Area for 150k AGI.
Not surprising. People who earn $75K (single) or $150K (as a couple) are not the ones who drastically change their lifestyles because of recession or high gas prices. In fact these people are anyways earning much above the national average. It's the low/middle-income folks that bear the brunt of high inflation and soaring gas prices...they are the ones being goaded into spending.
Anyways, think twice before you spend the rebate foolishly. Why not send it to IV, contribute to an IRA or fund your kid's 529 plan?

I filed my EB2 with the same employer. Did not get any RFE for PERM Labor. I have M.S degree from US. I am in the same job role from the beginning (Web Developer).

thats true, but when does the target timeframe clock start? when they receive the app or when the priority date becomes current?
I just now talked to an IO and she said that last Friday the processing dates for NSC are all wrong and its a mistake. Those will be corrected soon in couple of days.

they are working overtime on receipting (see the FAQ). Wish they stop receipting for these last 2-3 days and use up ALL the visa numbers. Everyone should be put into I-485 approval work. If there are people stuck in NC, see if any of the June/July filers manage to pass the FBI database without a hit.
A receipt notice coming 2 days late is not a big deal. If a visa number is not used up, its lost, gone forever!

I am in my 7th year of H1B and they refused to provide my I-140 approval copy. I have the receipt# only. Attorney will not give it to me either. Now what should I do. If they could they would have, but unfortunately judgment doesn't talk anything about Multinational manager.They tried to extend he finding of EB1 to EB2. I believe even thought this strictly applies to EB2 without M.S. But things will get tough for EB2 Master also ......

Everything has a cover, some cover ups are accepted some are not. N.Korea, justifies recent NT by saying they had the pressure and threat from neighbouring countries and USA. Nobody buys that story. Similarly we cannot but the story of USCIS saying its the issue of demand and supply. If that was the case why so many visa numbers were wasted.
Why there is fees increase in all the applications( they have enough fund for 20 years even if they dun get a penny from today onwards.)
Anyways, why are you still here in US.. go to Canada.. that will be the best for you.

Its a simple demand and supply situation, there are more visa seekers then there is availability and therefore there is a waiting period. i am not sure why we don't accept the simple fact that there are way too many people from developing country like ours moving to US, and not everyone can be accommodated ASAP. i think US has every right to do what it thinks is best for her, even if we don't agree with that,
And those who say its discrimination, discrimination is when people from Bihar are beaten up on the streets of mumbai cause they are taking jobs away from marathi manus. Had there been so many techies from around the world taking up jobs in India, we would have seen street lynching.

It is time now to do a massive mother of all media campaigns and inform every reporter, TV station, Radio station, Magazine and newspaper in this country about the rally.
We start this campaign now and we will continue it until Monday. Media publicity is very important for the success of the rally. IV is already doing an email campaign to hundreds of immigration reporters today. (Ps.This list was compiled by few IV volunteers from various forums and threads. It will not be made public. So if you have any such list do not post on IV.)
Here is what we want everyone to do:
1) Someone pls draft a cover letter/Letters and post on this thread. We need several such letters so that all emails look different.
2) Copy paste press releases from

What they are calling HEAVY DEMAND from EB-3 when it has been unavailable for the last two months and before that it was stuck in 2001. There are a whole lot of visas going to EB-2 people who filed in 2006 just two years back . If a person who filed in 2001 can't get his GC
I think they are talking about EB3 Mexico... Doesn't make any sense for EB3-India as it has already been unavailable.. so what does heavy load signifies... I am positive EB3-I will open up... may be more retrogressed than last availability.. but it will be available on Oct 1...

I contributed $100 by Paypal and sent out an eamil to about 15 of my friends who are in the same boat as I am. My email mentioned everything IV is trying to achieve and encouraged them to contribute too. I hope atleast a few of them will come forward.
If all of us contributing can email our friends and encourage them to do the same - that might help contributions pour in faster.
