Hi,
I have been on H1 for the last 8 years. My most recent H1B was expiring in July 09 and my company had filed for an extension in June. Unfortunately, there was an RFE. When going through the RFE response, our attorney identified another mistake in the petition and believed the best action was to withdraw it and file a new H1 extension petition. The RFE 'respond by' date has also passed now. Since my previous H1 has expired, would this new H1 Extension petition be considered a valid one? I have my EAD and can continue to work on that till this H1 is approved. Please offer any suggestions you may have and let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Hi friends
I travelled out of USA and am trying to get back into USA with AP. I am using H1B(not stamped).
THey temporarily transferred to me indian office for this duration.
I also have EAD with me(not yet started to use).Now My co. is not letting me to go back to USA
without a project.If incase i want to change my employer, how can I do it..
Will it hurt to go back without employers permission to USA and then to use EAD to get a job?
After this I plan to submit my resignation.For EAD, 180 days already crossed.
If I want to do the above,how many days I have to get a job with EAD with a new employer after I go to USA?
What are my options?

Mine, too, shows the LUD of 2/3/08, although it was approved in 6/07...

My company filed a new PERM application recently. I have a EB3 I-140 approved from my old employer ( Approved in August 2009). My attorney had filed the new PERM and requested to capture the same date. Will this cause any problems? Below is the question that is asked in ETA9089 form.
1. Are you seeking to utilize the filing date from a previously submitted application for Alien Employment Certification (ETA 750) ?

send them the business week article. In my company along with me 4 other folks also affected due to visa bulletin mess. I sent them an email on July 9th 2007 about flower campaign organized by IV to USCIS director. The sad part is no body showed any interest and bothered to reply. They are also going to benefited by this decision. These people still beleive in Murthy and other lawyer firm updates. I really don't know how to make these folks interested in IV. Any ideas or other personal stories.
