Hi all,
I am resident of CA and have my I140 application approved from Nebraska. My I485 application was filed in TSC. Is this a issue since according to USCIS, CA residents should file in the NSC. Will my I485 will be rejected because of this issue.

Hi there,
Please correct me if i am wrong.
WH-4 Time line is within a year, means if betrayel/non payment happened with in a year from the date of reporting it will be investigated, and YOU CAN FILE WH-4 FROM OUTSIDE OF US ALSO, if your consultant company sent you back with fake commitments.
But not sure if your h1 still have time, after DOL complain, you can transfer it or not??
Anyone has any idea???

B-1 visa is for the visitor who has an unabandoned foreign residence, intends to visit only temporarily and intends to engage only in permitted business activities.
B-1 business visitor may be admitted for the purpose of enaging in business but not for the purpose of local employment or labor for hire. in distinguishing, the determination would be whether the principal place of business and actual accrual of profits are in the foreign country. Permitted business activities may include
Engaging in commercial transaction which do not involve gainful employment
Negotiating contracts;
Consulting with business associates; and
Participating in scientific, educational, professional or business conventions, conferences
B visitors may apply for extension of stay in six month increments and may change to other non-immigrant visa statuses.

Hi there,
I am going to apply H4 VISA for my spouse, but we don't have any marriage pictures. and the problem is I am here in USA and she is back home, and i can't go back home because of my project.
I came to know that pics are very important for H4 Visa.....Anybody have any suggestion...

Hi,
My kid brother (15 years old and US Citizen) lives in India with my parents. They are quite elderly now to take care of him and we were thinking of bringing him to US legally to live with us. We want to adopt him so that he can have a good lifestyle here and have no issues legally in future. Is there anyone who has gone through similar case before ? Also, I wanted to ask if there are any attorneys that specialize in cases like these ? If so please let me know and I would like to hold a consultation asap.

Opponents of Arizona's SB1070 immigration law scored another victory in the courts yesterday. In the case of Friendly House v. Whiting, the court overruled a motion to dismiss the case challenging the law. The judge noted that "Racial discrimination was a motivating factor for [S.B.] 1070�s enactment" which establishes a legitimate constitutional challenge to the law. While this is only the opening round in the case, it does suggest that the defenders of the law will have a tough time convincing the judge that the law is constitutional. 10-1061-447 -

If you answered "Yes" to Question 3g in Part 4 on Page 3 of this form, fully describe the employment. Include the name of theperson employed, name and address of the employer, weekly income and whether the employment was specifically authorized byUSCIS.

I, xyz am working as a Systems Analyst with abc Inc. My job responsibilities include blah blah.
abc Inc is located at blah.
I am drawing a monthly salary of $xxx. A weekly income based on monthly salary would be $xxx
The employment was authorized by USCIS, the receipt number is EAC-xxxx

nice to meet you and thanks for any advice :)
I'd like to ask you a question since as I said before italian consulate is not that full of infos...i hope this is the correct section !
I filled up my DS156 online for a H4 ViSA Application two months ago, but then me and my husband who works in the U.S. have found out that we need an extra document, that will be issued much later. So we left it pending and never took an appointment at our consulate.
My question is: since the conditions and answers might be different next time, can I just erase my DS156 form and fill up a new one next time I need?
How can I erase it?
i'm going to visit him on christmas time to spend some time together, as tourist with VISA WAIVER... might I have problems enterning the us by custom service because i filled up this application time ago?
can I just say i'm going to visit my husband for that months being honest?

Encouraging. Darryl Issa, the powerful new GOP House Oversight Committee Chair, has introduced this bill in the past, but with the change in party control, he's got a lot more clout this time around. Issa is proposing replacing the green card lottery's annual green card allotment with a new green card category for US-educated graduates in the science, technology, math and engineering fields. Frankly, the lottery is a program that is always under attack and I'd rather see the program's numbers go to increasing either the family or employment categories.
