The last couple of VBs have brought out the worst amongst us, so much for together we stand, after reading the posts, it was more like 'you stand while i climb over you' :)

And this is because we always believed in our minds that we are nothing but a bunch of opportunists coming together for our individual cause of getting a GC. What we see today is an outcome of what we always believed. Soon EB2 will disappear, and EB3 will be left alone fighting for their GC's. And at some point of time they will also go away, all that's left will be "guests" using IV as a discussion forum. May be what I suggested can be termed as "Quixotic" but unless we aim high, we will never reach high.

A GC for myself alone will never satisfy me, because number of my friends, my family members are in EB3, and I am not mean enough to celebrate for myself when majority of my friends and family members are sad.

Kindly make sure that the applicant's pending I-485 file reflects the new I-140 approval which has a priority date of July 8 2003 and it reflects classification under Sec. 203 (b) (2).

They most of the approvals are of US Master degree and above as it is straight fwd EB2 no need to verify skill set etc..

I emailed them not as me but as my employer( point of contact mentioned in the labor petition) and it works they send me a copy of the labor approval to my house along with a copy to my employer and one to my attroney. It really works.

That is not true, my lawyer who is very influential and he has some good contacts he told me that this year spill-over would be different form last year. I was stupid so didn�t believe him about July 2007, and paying it for now for not having EAD.
I know this is hard to believe especially if something comes from lawyer.

why not ? 140 and 485 can be filed at same time if dates become current.
Thats exactly what I asked. How come your dates are current? Is your PD 2005? Just curious because if your LC was obtained recently, how could your PD be so early to become current? Now this is only a problem for countries like Indian and China. For the rest of the world everything is current I guess. Good for you anyway.

Indian market is expected to go down till 2010 .
If the inflation does not improve, it may continue until 2014.
Next year in india we can expect home credit crisis ( like USA). - more chances with this current economy.
The current prices in Hyd ,Blore, Chennai are artifical booms. - it will come for a correction.
But for sure, if you buy a property you CANNOTexpect that to go up by 500 or 700 % up in a year.
But real estate is always a good investment in life.
And on your question - i think SBI you can get loan from here

My PD is October 2003 (EB2 India) and I have always detested the fact that in some states the LC used to be approved very fast. If I remember correctly, the LC approvals used to have a state-wise bulletins prior to PERM and there was a time when in states like Maine, some got their GCs within a year of filing their LC. The majority unlucky ones got stuck in red tape racist states and LCs were moved to BECs.
priti888's LC was approved before December 2004 and she was able to file I-140 + I-485 concurrently in December 2004 becuase EB3 India was 'C' in December 2004 VB (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1343.html).
The title of the thread if funny (like the Monday Headlines in Jay Leno's Show) - card production ordered!!! July 23th :) instead of July 23rd

Visa Allotment or Assigning of Visas by USCIS - I cannot digest the assumption that USCIS/DOS/DOL are fools and there is no coordination among them to know who from which country has applied for GC under which category. These Govt. agencies are so efficient that they can even go through these forums and connect IDs here to applications. It is a piece of cake for them to find out the entire background of an applicant as soon as even the LC is filed. They very well know who is stuck with which employer in which state and what stage and to whom they are approving the GCs. If the employers are Americans, they can even call the DOL and ask them to hold the LC approval because they know that once their employees get their GCs they will quit them.
I am not trying to be negative and pessimistic, but please think about the chances of immigrants sueing these Govt. agencies during any of the stages in GC process and winning the lawsuit. And ofcourse, the immigration lawyers are too happy with the retrogressions and the way the immigration system works in this country.

I have been calling the list of Senators - and some of them say they do not support amnesty. I do talk about high skilled immigrants (from pappu's brief). My question is how do I make the distinction between the two groups without sounding that I am being against the undocumented?
Appreciate your help on this as I continue calling the Senators. Thanks

"For last 10 years there has been no High-skilled immigration bill passed by the Congress. The world has changed in last 10 years. I understand that the Senator is a champion for creating more jobs in America. Employment based green cards will create jobs in America. I want to start my own company and hire people in America. But I cannot do that if I don't have a green card.
I would sincerely request you to please convey to the Senator if he would consider supporting some version of the immigration bill
giving more weight to green cards and creating jobs in America, or maybe the Senator could lead the effort for improving the proposal"

You forgot that there were another 150,000 applications in this example with RD prior to PersonB and it is very likely that many of them could have the PD of April, 2003. Therefore, PersonB will still not get it even though he/she has an older Priority date!!
I think that after this stampede of application filings in June/July/August, USCIS needs to sort them by PD first otherwise people with older priority dates will suffer simply due to the volume of applications filed!!
If a person with PD 2003 May applies for AOS only in Oct 2007. If the above said statement is true then when are they going to work on this new application they got. If they are not going to work on it until the RD becomes current why are they even accepting the case.

Huge debt for everyone? This is going to be the biggest problem because in US, we have a foundation for debt based economy (SSN, credit history, Credit score, credit ratings etc.) If you default the payment, you will have an effect and there will be an impact on future credit applications. There is nothing of this sort in India and the politicians will not allow such things to be setup as well. So essentially back to my point. Banks who lend money are at bigger risk of loosing it. There is nothing that they can do to report on consumer's default or fraud for that matter.
Now per say consumer dump the property or bank attaches it for non payment of loan amount, Bank will be stuck with properties worth 1/4th for those crores that they loaned to people, maintenance will cost them more to prepare it for sale.
In any account, there is a big problem ahead there.
